hello! I’m Zach. I’m a designer living and working in New Orleans by way of Tulane. My time in and around New Orleans, including as a public interest design fellow and in a pair of design-build studios has maintained an interest in expanding definitions of how architecture can serve the places it builds in. I’m generally interested in housing (especially how to create more of it) design-build-develop projects, and limiting construction waste through design. My professional expertise centers on smaller residential projects (1-2 family homes to townhouses) with a dabbling of small-scale commercial. Working with the folks at Colectivo, I’ve gained skill in crafting projects that have an outsized impact for their budget, following through every phase of the design process.
My upbringing in Seattle (2,500 feet from city limits) fostered a passion for composting and carting groceries around by bike.
